The service includes a complete technical briefing on how to use the boat and personalized advice on recommended itineraries within the Marine Protected Area.All boats are delivered with safety equipment in compliance with the law. Any additional services or customizations are available upon request as a supplement, to ensure a tailored experience for you.
You can navigate from Sant’Isidoro (South) to Torre Colimena (North), always maintaining a minimum distance of 200 meters from the coast as required by current regulations.Fuel consumption is kept low thanks to the efficiency of our engines: for a complete tour from Porto Cesareo to Torre Colimena (round trip), the average is around a standard 24-liter tank. The actual figure may vary based on the load on board and the cruising speed.
The main risks stem from navigating near rocky outcrops (impacts to the hull or propeller) and the anchor getting snagged on uneven seabeds.It is important to remember that the operation of the vessel is the sole responsibility of the renter: any damage caused to the boat or the onboard equipment is at the customer's expense. For this reason, before departure, we provide a thorough briefing on shallow waters and safe mooring spots to ensure you have a day free of unexpected issues.
In case of entanglement, try to perform short maneuvers in the opposite direction of the snag point. Exercise maximum caution: ensure the rope is not under tension against the handrail and that no one is holding it, to avoid injuries.If you are unable to free it, you have two options:Assistance: You can request our intervention (paid service, starting from €20 plus fuel). Evaluate this option based on your distance from our base.Replacement: If the anchor is not recoverable, it must be safely abandoned. The replacement cost for the complete kit (anchor, chain, and rope) is €70.In any case, contact our staff immediately for phone support and instructions on how to proceed.
Punctuality is essential to guarantee service for subsequent customers and the proper management of the fleet.In the event of an unexcused return beyond the time established in the contract, a minimum penalty of €20 will be applied. We advise you to monitor your navigation times, especially if you are at more distant points like Punta Prosciutto, to ensure a smooth return without additional costs.
No, we do not require an initial security deposit. However, the customer remains directly responsible for any damage caused to the boat or the onboard equipment.Note on cleaning: if the boat is returned in excessively dirty conditions, a €20 supplement will be applied for extraordinary cleaning costs.
The vessel is covered by Third-Party Liability (RC) insurance, as required by law.Important note: There is no coverage for accidental damage caused by the customer to the hull, engine, or onboard equipment. Any damage caused during the rental remains the responsibility and at the expense of the renter.
Our office is strategically located adjacent to a large municipal car park. You will easily find a spot for your vehicle just a few steps from the boarding point.The parking service is managed by the Municipality of Porto Cesareo and is subject to an hourly rate. We recommend arriving slightly in advance to easily manage your parking before the technical briefing.
